You can advertise your new niche market
information product, or any other ebook,
website, or product you want to promote, to the world
within the next hour and start making sales just
as quickly.
There are a ton of ways to direct traffic to your
website or to a website that you'd like to
promote for affiliate commission. The best way
is, of course, to have your own high traffic
website and list of subscribers, to announce new
products to, but if you're just beginning or if
you want to promote something that doesn't fit
in your current marketing strategy, then pay per
click is hands down the fastest and most
affordable ways to drive traffic to your offer.
Pay Per Click for Affiliate Income
Dependant on your target market
and the keywords they use to search for items
online, you can often grab a click for .30 cents
and with effective marketing meeting that
visitor on the other side you could easily make
$60 from that 30 cent click.
Of course that is the best case
scenario. The fact of the matter is that very
few markets this lucrative have cheap click
rates and big income returns. But every now and
then you'll hit a winner - especially if the
product or the topic is new and underdeveloped
(bigger, faster marketers don't know about it or
aren't promoting it yet).
Pay Per Click to Your Own Website
If you're not getting organic
search engine hits to your website and you want
visitors right away, pay per click marketing
comes in very handy. The order of the day is to get highly targeted niche market
traffic right away to your product offer before
the search engines have picked up and listed
your pages in their index. You want to get your product
in the way of ready to buy customers, these are
the people who have
already run a search for a product or
information on a search engine - when they ran
their search, your website or advertisement is
served up beside or above the organicly listed
pages.
How-To Pay Per Click
Here's the scoop - you're going to pay 5 to 20
cents per interested buyer for the average $35-40 product.
(That's not a written law, that's just how most
niche marketers work.)
If you're new at this, use Google's
pay per click program.
-
Go to google.com and set up an account.
-
Plug in the keywords that you determined best fit your product (through the Product Idea Evaluator which was explained in Evaluate an Idea).
-
Set your budget limit and usually sometime within that day your site's advertisements will be listed when people search for your defined keywords.
I always put the price of my
product in my pay-per-click advertisement. That
slows down the freebie seekers (remember every
person clicking your advertisement will cost you money -
you only want people who are prepared to pay for
your product).
Start small and slow with your
google.com campaign...set a daily budget in your
Google account and evaluate the number of clicks
vs. orders. You may want to tweak the keywords
your using or your sales letter to improve
performance. At the very least, have a free
course offering or newsletter sign up form on
the page you drive traffic to so you can
continue to market your product to people who
are interested in your topic, but not quite
ready to buy.
